Baigent & Daughters Group Ltd | Art Department Manager Using G4 MacIntoshes with Photoshop, Freehand 8, Quark Express and Illustrator, my primary tasks were the completion of the main company's flagship Annual Catalogue, a 72 page book of farming oriented products (Distribution: 150,000+), and the design and execution of current product catalogues for all other companies in the Group. Key Responsibilities included: • Creation of all printed / published material for the group. • Providing assistance to marketing & product managers in the form of promotional and advertising material for their products. • Assisted company executives with presentation support media. • Involved in strategic planning of marketing campaigns. • Providing support with the creation of marketing material including fliers, advertisements, sales offers, launch / special promotions, invitations, company reports, business cards, billboards and signage. Other functions: • Develop and maintain company websites, including preparation of suitable images and HTML code. • Negotiate with media groups for the purchase of advertising space and airtime. • Liaise with product suppliers and ad agencies, and rework / edit images or artworks to meet the group's requirements. |
