Responsible for daily operation of the store and 6 staff, as well as paymaster, using Commacc Payroll. Set up a client database, used for direct permission marketing via HTML e-mail. Created an Excel spreadsheet solution used to track sales and commission payments to staff, with automatic GST adjustment for export sales at wholesale and retail levels.

Aurum Fine Jewellery Ltd | 2 IC and Sales Representative
Covering all of New Zealand, plus Sydney and Melbourne.
Created Excel spreadsheet based solution for calculating cost and selling prices of work in progress using variables for metal prices, gemstones, varying manufacturing costs, taking into account fluctuating exchange rates and multi-level pricing. Assisted with design and execution of master patterns for the range of jewellery, based on research of historical sales and opinions elicited from retail jewellers throughout New Zealand.

Owned and operated my own Jewellery store in Durban, South Africa, where I was face to face with clients - producing designs and creating jewellery to their requirements. In 1994, was named as Official Supplier of precious metal jewellery licensed to Rugby World Cup 1995. Commissioned to create a presentation piece given to Nelson Mandela at the World Cup Final.
